Security with MyFILE365

With MyFILE365, you are secured with the same encryption and security that applies to your online banking

MyFILE365 stores data in two places: in a database called MongoDB and in Azure blobstorage. You can not break into the traffic, as it is encrypted between the server and the user (the same encryption that applies to, for example, online banking). The most important thing as a user is to create a secure username and password. For example, do not use a password like 12345, but find something more secure with more variables.

When you log in to MyFILE365 you do not get direct access to either MongoDB or Blobstorage. All access to data goes through the server, and with each request it is checked whether the user has access to the data contained in the database. As you have the opportunity via MyFILE365 to share data with, for example, project managers etc., user X has the opportunity to access data from user Y. Whether user X can gain access depends on the circumstances. If no link is established between the two users, they will not be able to see each other. mulighed for at få adgang til data fra bruger Y. Om bruger X kan få adgang afhænger af omstændighederne. Hvis ikke der er etableret et link mellem de to brugere kan de ikke se hinanden.

To sum up: The security of Azure is that your password is only known by one person - namely you as a user, and that all data to and from the server is encrypted with the same technology as when you go to the bank (SSL) *

* SSL is an abbreviation for Secure Sockeys Layer. SSL is a standard security technology that makes it possible to establish an encrypted (secure) connection between a web server and a browser. This connection ensures that all data that passes between the web server and the browser remains private.
